Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My unit is not keeping time, what is wrong?

A: Check memory battery, battery should be changed every 2 years. Unit uses standard alkaline AA battery.

Q: I put a battery in the back of my clock, but it still doesn't work, what is wrong?

A: You need aircraft power to power up the display, the AA battery is only for memory when Aircraft Avionics is turned off. If you wire up unit to aircraft battery to always be on, remove AA battery so you don't have to worry about replacing it every two years.

Q: My lighting is not working or un-even, what is wrong?

A: You probably have burned out incandescent bulbs which need to be replaced.

Q: I am missing segments on the display, what is wrong?

A: The display has failed and needs to be replaced.

Q My display is showing all 88:88's, what is wrong?

A: First check memory battery and remove it. Power unit back up and see if it works, if not it is probably the LCD display or display driver that has failed. Unit would need to come back in for repair.

Q: I just installed my clock and it turns off when I power up my aircraft, what is going on?

A: You probably wired the clocks orange power wire to the grounding side of the master relay. Find a hot power source.

Q: When setting time, different digits are changing when I am setting the flashing digit, what is wrong?

A: The clock IC has failed, unit needs to be sent in for repair.
