Meets FAA Part 89
Remote ID standards
pingRID keeps you safe and compliant by transmitting your aircraft’s take-off location, in-flight position, and altitude throughout the flight. Accepted by the FAA, pingRID adheres to the FAA’s accepted RID-ASTM-F3586-22-NOA-22-01 Means Of Compliance (MOC).

Easy to use
pingRID is preconfigured and ready to fly out of the box – no setup or integration required. Simply assign your pingRID’s unique identification number to your aircraft’s registration with the FAA. It’s that simple. No app or fuss.
Designed for
Mission Assurance
The ultra-compact, self-powered, low-weight design fits most aircraft without impacting performance. Capable of operating for over 2 hours on a single charge, the pingRID is ready for all missions and events

Understanding the FAA Requirement
The FAA’s final rule on Remote ID stipulates that as of September 16, 2023, all drone pilots must meet the operating requirements of part 89. For most operators, this means flying a drone equipped with Standard Remote ID, equipped with a broadcast module such as pingRID, or flying at a Federally Recognized Identification Area (FRIA).
